A die casting is a component produced via pressure die casting. It is manufactured using a die casting machine equipped with a prefabricated casting mold. Molten metals such as copper, zinc, aluminum, or aluminum alloys are poured into the feed port of the die casting machine, and under the pressure exerted by the machine, these metals are cast into copper, zinc, aluminum, or aluminum alloy components conforming to the shape and dimensions defined by the mold. Such components are generally referred to as die castings.Die castings are known by various names in different contexts, including die cast components, pressure die castings, die cast parts, die cast aluminum, die cast zinc parts, die cast copper parts, copper die castings, zinc die castings, aluminum die castings, aluminum alloy die castings, and aluminum alloy die cast components.
